We ended up at Blackjack's on...

We ended up at Blackjack's on Saturday night purely by chance. We just happened to be in the area running another errand and decided to stop in. It was approximately 10 PM when we arrived. There were plenty of places to park and we parked ourselves only to be told it was $3 to park.

Upon entering the lobby we were aggressively greeted by a female cashier and a male bouncer-type. The collected the $15 cover so we were already $30 down when we walked in the door. The club was dark with something resembling cigarrette smoke in the air and some flashing strobe lights by the stage. The air quality puzzled us since IL has a smoking ban. We were given a choice of seats and selected two to the side of the stage but not at the tip rail. One nice touch is that mrs m00t was shown the ladies' room as we were seated. The club was mostly empty which was also surprising since it was Saturday night and there are really no other clubs within many miles. The closest ones would be by Ohare and that is at least an hour away.

We ordered two beers at $6.50 each. The list price on here said $4 so that is either not the case on a weekend or we were over-charged. Apparently the drink price is $6.50 regardless of what is ordered as a dancer later ordered some sort of mixed drink with Crown and it was the same price. Waitress was friendly but not attractive and not dressed in normal SC waitress fashion. She had on black jeans and a T-shirt.
