This was my first trip to Deja Vu, and my first trip to a City-of-Insustry style club. There were some good things and some bad things. I went on a weekday afternoon, and did not visit the VIP room or the bar. I had a coupon of some sort, which I suspect didn't change the cover charge I had to pay. The club looked reasonably nice in the main room, but as I sat and watched for a few minutes, I realized the layout of the chairs was pretty cumbersome and made the main room feel like you were either camped out 'in back' in the booths, or were in the floor seats sitting a little close to the next seat. There wasn't a good hang out a enjoy a drink spot, in my opinion.

But maybe that's the point, because I realized at the time I went, the dancing on stage was just a warmup for the private dances-- there were only dancers on stage for 10 minutes or so every half hour, then they encouraged you to go in back.

But! The back was very nice, too. The booths were small, but very private. Dances were reasonably priced and the automatic bill machine counted down your time left.

Overall a good experience, and I would go back, but I'll be prepared to not spend a large part of the afternoon there.
