I'd recommend visiting PULSE of Peoria...
I'd recommend visiting PULSE of Peoria on Farmington Road. I've written a couple reviews about this place since it has become PULSE. It seems this place is always changing, they've been planning a grand re-opening for over a year now. But, the club is still trying to find its identity. The construction has been going on for over a year and it looks like they've finally figured out what look they are going for. But, progress is slow. Hurry up and get the club finished already! So it's difficult to rate the club appearance right now. Currently it's below average but it's tolerable. Some pros: not ghetto, no crime issues in the area. I remember reading it was unsafe when it was Fantasyland, I can tell you first hand that has changed.
The staff is very friendly at Pulse, including the mangers, door guys, bouncers, and DJ. Remember I said PULSE was a club trying to find its identity? Well while a vast majority of the staff has stayed on working there since first opening, but the same can't be said about the management. It appears they've gone through 3 general managers since opening. This club needs some continuity. Hopefully the new management will be able to get this club running smoothly.
Monetary wise, the drinks are a fair price and the dances seem high. Drinks are like 3 dollars for a beer and shots are around 6 dollars. Topless no touch couch dances are 15 dollars a song and full nude semi touch dances are 30 dollars a song. At first I though this was high I until I noticed Big Al;s in Peoria is now 25 dollars a dance and it's no touch. So Pulse's dance price seem fair for the area. There are also vips available starting at 15 minutes for 75 dollars.
