I have been meaning to check...

I have been meaning to check this place out for a long time, but I live in the Design District in Miami and Tootsie's is closer. I was at a driving range near Scarlet's on Sunday with a pal and we decided to have a drink after hitting a few baskets. We get there at about 7:30 pm and were charged $10 each to get in. The place is nice and it seems to have been renovated recently. We sat at a table by the stage, but decided to move since we were right next to the speakers and the music was so loud it was actually painful. We moved to the bar and ordered some drinks. The prices are about right for the club. It is smaller than it seems from the outside. There were only about 5 girls at the moment. The bartender assured us that it would pick up later but from what I saw it was pretty much dead. Maybe 3 other patrons. The girls were about a 7, but nothing inspiring spending cash on a lap dance. I think we came on the wrong day, at the wrong time. That being said, I've had lunch meeting with clients at Tootsies in the middle of the week and the talent has been great for what should be considered the B lineup. I might check it out again if we end up staying at the range until it closes at 9:30 pm, but otherwise, I'll keep spending my money at Tootsie's.
