Club has been well reviewed, so I will try to expand on what has been written and compare to Adelita's. This review is from two trips I made in mid December.

Getting across the border isn't a big deal. I took the trolley to the San Ysidro stop, took the LONG walk across the new bridge and across the border (plan at least 10 minutes). The walking path makes a Y when you get close to the final enterance, it is better to stay left and go to the closest turnstile doors. Taxi's are plentiful right in front of you. Say "Hong Kong" very clearly, and you are on your way. Ride over is about 5 minutes, they drop you off in front of Adelitas, hong kong is back about doors.

My visits on Sunday night and Tuesday night involved no cover or expectation for a drink. I did pay the front desk $1 to keep my jacket (it was in the 40's outside, but hot inside).
