I went to the Gold Club...
I went to the Gold Club after midnight on a Saturday in December. The club was full. Cover was $19, which included your first two drinks. There were five waitresses, and you’d constantly be getting solicited for beverages by all five of them throughout the night. It is really annoying shooing away a waitress every twenty seconds. With that said, I greased most of the waitresses and was able to get my accessories for my BYOB for free, which is a no-no because the club is supposed to charge you $5.50 per cup of ice or mixers. Beers and sodas are $5.50. The club makes its money on a high cover and being pushy on drinks. Private dance prices are negotiable with each dancer since the club does not take a cut. Most girls will throw high numbers at you like 3/$100, but all will do 4/$100. Personally, I only buy dances at $20. If a dancer declines my offer, chances are she will come back and accept later because most guys here are rocks. Every time a dancer took me up on $20, she would tell me not to let other dancers know she was dancing that cheap. The Local Sisterhood of Strippers must be trying to hold the line at $25 or $30 per dance. Fuck unions. I even got once stripper to give me 4/$60 on this visit. She also begged me not to tell other dancers she was working for that cheap.
Since I was last here in May, dancer quality went down a bit with older and uglier dancers, but I was still able to find diamonds in the rough. (One dancer told me she had a kid my age. That meant she had to have been in her mid-forties.) Dances are two-way contact, but you will get no extras here based on the setup of the dance booths. They are pretty much open for everyone in the club to see into. Bambi gives a great dance and is fun to talk to. Andrea is another girl that gives a good dance. However, a dancer you should avoid is Prada. She is a fat blonde, and invited herself to my table and drank most of my fifth. You would think a girl that weighs about 14-15 stone would lay off the liquor. She also thought she was worth 3/$100, what a joke. Prada should not be in this profession. About every hour or so, they do prize dances where you get a mug or long-sleeve Gold Club shirt. The club charges the girls for the GC-branded garbage, and they in turn look for you to in turn pick up the cost masked as a dance special. When you hear an engine revving up, the dressing room door will open up and about thirty dances will come shooting out hitting you with, “Wanna dance?†I ran into a lot of pushy dancers. One sat down uninvited and then wanted a tip when I told her I was not interested. Another pair of out-of-town fatties, working the double dance angle, solicited me about six separate times in a ten minute span. How many “No’s†does it take to understand I am not interested? Apparently six.
The secondhand smoke here is very bad. Many of the dancers and customers smoke. I had a sore throat and cough for over a week after spending several hours here. If I were management, I’d find a way to clean the air in the club. I also saw lots of guys sitting in their cars, loitering in the parking lot. It was kind of creepy.
