We arrived at Deja Vu around 10 PM after listening to Rooster sing the blues at Chris Owens's club down the street. Rooster always puts my wife in a sexy mood (as if she needs much help!). The downstairs was pretty crowded and since we paid the extra $5 each cover for VIP we immediately headed up to the VIP area. It was $2 Tuesday and it is nice to enter a club in NOLA knowing you can drink for less than $7-8 a beer or drink. This frees up the cash for other adventures if one is so inclined.

The VIP area is on the top floor up three flights of stairs. They are well lit so ladies should not have any issues even in heels. At the top of the stairs is a bouncer who will direct you to to the VIP area. It can be kind of confusing for the first-time customer or apparently for blondes who have been drinking Patron and Abita Amber for a couple of hours. LOL One hallway leads to the private dance areas and one to a dressing room and one to the VIP area.
