Back in the Carbondale area so...

Back in the Carbondale area so I decided to stop by JB's just to see what was up.

The place has not changed much (unfortunately) and needs remodeling bad. The cover was $5 to get in (the same as all the strip clubs in Desoto). There were four dancers on shift the night that I visited, they ranged from plain to average looking, they were friendly though, counting myself there were about 6 customers in the club. I talked to the bartender and DJ about business, it was bad when I was here before and it's still bad. The place has been dead and I'm not sure how they are still in business. No one was really paying much attention to the dancers, the mood was boring and depressing.

It would be nice if one of the other clubs in Desoto cleaned up their act to give some competition to the completely average Club Coyote but for right now that is not the case. I currently cant recommend JB,s place to anyone, even in Southern Illinois there are better options than this.
