GoGo Rama is not the best...

GoGo Rama is not the best strip club in the world, but I think it is definitely the best value in the New Jersey area. I went there with my friend on a weekday around thanksgiving and was impressed by the number of dancers and the quality of the dancers. As some of the other reviewers have said there are some dancers that are not so nice (40s, out of shape, horrible) but this is counterbalanced by some girls in their early 20s who are good looking enough and have enough talent that they could probably be at a Manhattan club with prices 5-10 times higher.

The system of getting the lap dances is very different from other strip clubs because you ask the DJ and get a number rather than asking the girl directly-- the benefits of this are that you don't have to track down your favorite entertainer after her time on stage and look for her for a dance, but there are some negative things, like you might be watching a dancer's routine near the stage and some other guy will go request her number from the DJ while you are still watching performance, so you have to get in line. I have been here a few times and there can be big lines for certain girls. Especially since you just get a random number from the DJ, you really have no idea how long of a line you are in for any dancer. Overall, at first I hated the system but now it has grown on me a little bit.

There is less pressure from dancers to get lap dances or private room dances compared to other clubs I have been to. There are some girls going around doing the dollar dances to the guys sitting down trying to encourage them to buy these dances, but these girls are usually the ones you don't want because these are the ones who are least in demand. The most popular girls if you go on a busy night you will only see on stage for their routine and then they will be doing lap dances/ private dances in rama room and you will never see them on the floor again. They have a TV near the DJ booth to help you identify which girl you might want to dance with, but I would say make sure you see the girl that night before you choose her I have seen some girls look much better on the TV than in reality after you choose them.
