A very nice club, on the Berlin Turnpike, about 15-20 minutes from Hartford. It is a small place that could be hard to miss; just keep an eye out for the sign for 'Maguires'. The dancers alternate between two adjacent venues. One is the topless sports bar, where alcoholic beverages are served and the dancers dance at a topless stage, but there are no private dances. The other is the nude cabaret, where the dancers dance all-nude and sell lap dances.

The cover for Friday nights is $14 to get into the nude cabaret, and $5 to get into the topless bar. I think if you go the topless bar first, you should be admitted into the cabaret side for an extra $9, but I have seen some bouncers charge an additional $14 instead. I have always showed up at the nude cabaret, pay the $14, take a peek at what's going on (and which dancers are around), get a stamp on my finger, then go next door for no additional charge.

Both sides are cozy, and at times get crowded. Each side has stages with chairs around a bar which surrounds a dance floor at the level of the chairs. The dancers can get close and friendly (if you tip them) as they dance around the stage. When it's not too busy, the girls will often sit down and chat as they make their way around the stage. Most of them are nice, and some are really cool. I often like to start the night there and have a few drinks, then make my way back to the nude cabaret.
