Although my favorite New Orleans club...

Although my favorite New Orleans club is definitely Visions, the Gold Club has become my favorite in the French Quarter.

The place has three stages - main, bar, and satellite. All three are easy to get to for tipping. The lighting is a little dim if you're trying to check out a dancer from accross the room. The sound system is a little too loud for my taste. The seating is comfortable and the place is pretty clean overall.

Friday and Saturday nights get pretty crowded, especially after 10. Gets hard to find a seat. But weeknights here aren't completely dead. There's still a good selection of dancers with fewer customers to compete with for attention.
