I was in the area and curious to see what made a nude club a nude club. This Deja Vu is in a run down town of Ypsilanti, MI. As far as I could tell there was only metered street parking and you could load the meters up to 1 hour at a reasonable cost. There is reportedly a parking lot in the area but I couldn't find it. I felt reasonably safe during the day but don't plan to visit after dark. Sketchy folks waiting at a major bus stop across the street from the entrance. Once inside, I was somewhat more at ease. The main area is nicely decorated and maintained, however, it is too dark for my liking. One large centrally located stage has ample seating around it or at more distant tables. The girls on this visit were all uniformly thin and young. There were about 4 or 5 girls for the 3 patrons in attendance. I wandered around the hallways to see what else was around. When one of the dancers came into the more lighted area, it became painfully apparent why the lights were kept low in the main area. I spent about 45 minutes in the club but had no desire to purchase anything but a coca-cola. The good news is that the beverage was not watered down, the bad news is that I could have bought 4 liters for the same price down the street. No smoking so the air is clean. Overall a nice place but not worth the cost of admission and beverage. I'm heading south into Ohio and should have reports on Toledo and Dayton clubs soon. I don't know what I may have missed by not getting any dances, but I also don't regret my failure to do so.
