I was in LA for a conference and thought I'd check out Spearmint Rhino COI. Very dark club when you walk in. Stumbled around and found a seat at a table. Only one stage which was dark as well. Girls were friendly enough and made the rounds to chat a bit. I did get dances from several different girls. Dances varied from air dance to excellent grind, so YMMV is very true. One real negative was the constant hustle to buy the girls expensive drinks as soon as you sit down in the lap dance area. I finally told the waitress I would not be buying anymore drinks the rest of the night. Can't remember the price, but it was like $12 for a non-alcoholic drink. They have frequent dance specials ( 2-for-1 or 3-for-1), but don't be fooled -- they shorten the songs significantly. I took about 5 girls back for lap dances and finally found one that I clicked with. Not the hottest dancer, but friendly and fun. Took her back to a curtained room and we had a good time. I'd return if the place wasn't such a rip-off -- shortened songs, constant pressure to buy outrageously expensive drinks for the dancers. Really takes away from a relaxing experience.
