BLUF: All in all a pretty good time for the local club, definitely worth it if you're in the area and don't want to go to some of the sketchier local options.

The Showcase Theatre is in an industrial area - not particularly "run down" in the traditional sense, just industrial - there is a large NASA contractor located a couple hundred yards away. The area does not seem unsafe. This was my first visit.

You go in the door and pay your $20 cover to the guy behind the window, and they put some marker on your hand. You proceed down the hallway, get wanded by the bouncer, and you're in.
