I was in SD on business and I had read generally good things about Jolar on TUSCL, so, as a lover of peep shows, I decided to check it out. Overall it was very good, but not anywhere near as good as the Lusty Lady in San Francisco. There were three girls working their private booths and all three were quite attractive (7-8) and friendly. I had private shows with two of the three and both were hot. Private shows at Jolar are like the Private Pleasures shows at the Lusty Lady, meaning that the girl is in a small booth that's separated from the customer's booth by a glass window. The glass window was the first problem. At the LL the window is clear acrylic and it does not obstruct the view at all. The windows at Jolar are electronic windows that can be made opaque electronically, but when they're in "transparent" mode, they aren't completely transparent. Some may not mind this at all, but for me it was a deal breaker. The second problem was the communication system which consisted of a phone in each booth. The phone volume was so low that it was difficult to hear what the girl was saying (too bad because both seemed to be good dirty-talkers) and the fact that you have to hold the phone in one hand is not so good. A much better solution would be a "hands free" communication system with microphones and speakers in both booths.

I don't recall exactly how much time you get for each $10 bill that you feed into the machine, but it seemed like a reasonable amount of time.

tUnlike the LL in SF, there's no stage show where you can watch multiple dancers strut their stuff. That's one of the things I like most about the LL - you can hang out in the booths that surround the main stage and perv on a variety of girls for a long time at relatively low cost, and then if you find someone who strikes your fancy, you can visit privately with her in the Private Pleasures booth (at considerably greater expense however).
