I have been going to Cheetah...

I have been going to Cheetah regularly for 7 years. But in the last few months, they have gotten so stupid that I no longer go there. The managers and floormen treat custoners like children, and hound you constantly to do what they want you to do. As a long time regular, I used to see the BS with other customers but not be affected. Now they have tried that shit with me several times and I am done. I actually got thrown out of there for shutting off the video game that was in my face while sitting at the bar. They said it would have to stay on all the time. I guess they wanted the 25 cents (which no one was going to put in it while I was sitting in front of it anyway) more than the $50 I had just spent in an hour on booze for myself and the girls. This is just one example, but in the last month I have had multiple disputes with management about ridiculously stupid and childish things. I thought this was an ADULT CLUB? This club has gone so far downhill that it is just no longer fun. The girls are pretty enough, but management has pissed off so many customers that the girls are now unhappy, broke, and aggresssive about making money. Sometimes there are 2-3 girls for each customer, and that makes for a very un-fun environment.

If you decide to go anyway, be very careful with your wallet. They tastelessly squeeze every dime they can out of you. They charge to park your car (this is Sarasota not Miami!!), $10 cover charge, drinks are $9 and up, and most of the bartenders and waitresses are useless. You will find unexpected charges on your credit card, you will find floormen requiring 20% "tips" just for collecting the $200 it costs for a half hour room (actually $240 with surcharge). Even worse, the club keeps half of this money (like a pimp) and every week I used to hear from some girl about being screwed and not paid their half by the club for a room. Its a very nice building, some beautiful girls, and slimy management. The chairs are all ratty and worn out. Some dancers carry something to sit on when they sit on a chair. Bathrooms are only clean when they have a valet there, so be prepared to tip the attendant when you piss.

Choices are limited in Sarasota. Go to a regular club or make the ride to Tampa.
