The interior is pretty much what I consider standard for the industry. Its got a stage right in in the middle of the bar which wraps around it. Chairs and tables in a quarter circle against the wall. Private dance room off to the right as you walk in, and two pool tables to the rear of the club. Bathroom is not particularly clean, and has a constant stink to it. On this particular night, it had what looked like vomit all over the faucet handles and the sink itself. I went to this club twice this week actually. First on Sunday, and then again on Monday. From Sunday thru Thurs, as long as I've been going there (I do go quite a bit) nights are pretty slow. It's mostly hit or miss in this club. You never know how many or what quality of dancers you'll get.

In fact, prior to the middle of this year (2011) the quality of dancer was quite poor. I think this is what prompted the notice on the door (which is still up there) stating that there would be strict weight, and other guidelines, concerning the dancers. So far, they've only half made good on that notice. It seems as though they need to relax the standards a little, or else they may lack in the number of dancers required to bring in the crowd. One thing that continues to irritate me about this place, is that I rarely see a dancer actually dance. What I have seen a lot of, is dancers getting on stage, doing a few half ass moves for about a minute, then getting off to either chat with other dancers or dig in their purses for God know what. There seems to be no work ethic in this area. Most of the girls are also not really friendly, in my opinion. They tend not to mingle, but rather just sit there, or congregate in some corner. They are constantly in and out of the dressing rooms, and generally lack enthusiasm. I've actually seen a whole group of them leave the club during a shift in favor of some "underground" party, complaining that they were'nt "making any money". When the entertainment is mediocre, the earnings usually follow suit!

For some reason, this past Sunday was a little more active than usual, and the next day, there was a pretty decent amount of nice looking dancers,(according to one I spoke to, they were there 'cause they could'nt get into the clube they had intended to dance in that night) but hardly any patrons. Like I said before, this was a rarity, and it pretty much depends on circumstance. The Wedge is an OK place to go to just to hang out. I prefer the slower nights, and I'll always stop in from time to time.
