I was with a friend and...

I was with a friend and we decided to head on on a Sunday night. Given that Sunday isn't a typical night out, we didn't really have much in the way of expectations, but we still thought we would be able to make a good time of it regardless. We were wrong. We went to Camelot East and paid a $5 cover. We head in, and there was not a lot of customers, but still enough to warrant having more girls working than they had. There were very few girls, and there was only one who I would have even thought about getting a dance from. Pretty much all of the girls were sitting at tables with customers talking and drinking. The only girl who even acknowledged my friend and I was the waitress. In about an hour in the club, not a single dancer even approached us. They just didn't seem too interested in making any money apparently, because none of them were dancing for the customers they were sitting with, either. We decided to hit the road and go to another club. I will not be returning to Camelot East unless I'm dragged there by a friend, and even then it will have to be on a busier night because it was not worth it to pay cover to not even be acknowledged. I'm not entirely sure the monetary value of this club because I never got to spend anything other than cover.

I was driving, so I didn't have a drink, but my friend did and apparently they do mix a nice stiff drink, at least. It's still not worth it, though.
