I was in town on business...

I was in town on business and decided to see what all the fuss is about with this place. Arrived Thursday afternoon, parked across the street, and immediately wasn't too impressed. The place was incredibly dark even by strip club standards, the music was typically loud by strip club standards, and despite whatever laws may be against it, it was smoky. Looked like maybe 20 patrons there on average and about 12 dancers, several of whom were old, chubby, or just kind of unattractive. A few caught my eye--a blond with ringlets in her hair looked great from a distance but I never really got a good look at her and there was another tall, thin, brunette with long dark hair and nice teeth. I tipped her at the satellite stage, after which she went over to the bar to chat up what looked to be a regular.

I continued to sit there for about 20 minutes with little attention, turning down one ugly dancer and wondering what the hype was about for PP. Then the tall brunette came over, sat on my lap, and we talked for a few minutes before she popped the question which coincided with the DJ announcing 2-for-1s. We both thought that was perfect timing and retreated to the couch area.

That's where I figured it out. I'm not a regular club-goer and not even remotely aggressive. On our first dance I was a gentleman before she told me I could touch and even then I was gentle and not too handsy. Halfway through our dance she started turning up the heat significantly and by the end was telling me just to wait until the end of the song to see if the guy & dancer across from us were leaving. Sure enough, they did, and that's when things got turned out.
