I live in Austin, but never visit clubs near home for discretionary reasons. I've been making weekly drives to San Antonio for a couple of years and have become very comfortable in three or four clubs there, generally always getting extras and enjoying myself.

When I started making monthly trips to Houston back in August, I began to visit some of the many clubs there, and I found them a bit overwhelming. I'm usually a daytime patron and prefer a club small enough to be aware of everyone in the place. I found this difficult in Houston, where the clubs are bigger, more crowded and there are LOTS of dancers.

Last week, I decided to visit another place I haven't been before, so I went looking for Treasures...drove right past it the first time, but circled around and went inside. It was very dark and very crowded; I couldn't even tell which chairs were occupied. So I walked toward the light in the middle room, where I was impressed with the big buffet. Saw the lounge in the back part and the stairs, then returned to the front room where I was finally able to find an empty table. Never had a waitress stop by, but was greeted in a few minutes by A*****a, a very cute Latina. We chatted for a moment and she asked if I was interested in getting a dance. Yes, sure.
