There aren't many 'regular' strip clubs...

There aren't many 'regular' strip clubs in Santo Domingo, there are some that are actually brothels (more on that below). But this place is the real deal, a nice classy strip club like those in the US, with beautiful girls. I went on a Saturday night around 11pm and stayed until 2am. There is a cover of about $8 and a requirement that you buy another $8 in drinks (that's two drinks).

Inside, the club is nice, in good shape, with one large stage in the middle and plenty of chairs around tables. The crowd was classy, somewhat wealthy Dominicans and some tourists too. Some couples were there too. Of all the strip clubs in Santo Domingo, this is the most expensive, so you find people who have a bit of money to spend (actually, they are opening another called Geisha which will also be high-end). I would guess some girls speak English, but I was speaking Spanish so I don't know.

The women--wow!--the most beautiful I have seen in DR. Mostly latinas, from all over latin america, not just DR, and a few from other places (met a girl from Russia). The dancers were roaming through the audience, which was crowded, and sitting down with guys. A girl sat down next to me, was pretty aggressive, and asked if I wanted a dance. She was cute but not my type. I told her not tonight, and unfortunately, after that, no other girls came and talked to me.
