First visit. Club looks very...
First visit. Club looks very nice; it's obviously on the new side. Stage and bar are on the ground floor; VIP rooms upstairs. Not much of a crowd - patrons or dancers - at the lunch hour. Had a filet mignon lunch special ($10-12) that was very good. About 10 dancers working. The first one that latched onto me was not especially appealing, and indeed about half the dancers were 'eh' in my book. But there were a few lookers, and managed to get one to sit with me when the one I couldn't get rid of finally left to go onstage. After talking for a while, we headed upstairs. As has been mentioned, the VIP rooms are actual rooms, with doors that close and everything. Got a mid-range room that included its own stripper pole. The dances were not especially wild by Detroit dancers, but were still naughty enough to make for a fun and eventually satisfying - though somewhat expensive - time. This place isn't cheap, but the dancers I talked with were more personable than at other high-end Detroit clubs (like Penthouse recently). There are a lot of clubs in Detroit worth visiting, and not sure how often I'll visit Hustler (it's on the wrong side of town for me). But I anticipate coming back.
