I was in Detroit for the weekend so decided to make a tour of the airport clubs. My first stop was the Play House, then I went to the Landing Strip.

This was a club I spent a lot of time in 7-10 years ago. It has since been sold (at least twice) and remodeled. The interior now looks very nice - a big improvement oer the past. The private dance area used to be upstairs with the DJ - the DJ is now moved to the main floor and the dance area is downstairs.

I ordered a diet coke and was charged $7.75. A young dancer came over and sat down at the bar with me and we spent some time talking - she actually talked a lot more than I did. I ended up seeing 3 dancers on stage plus my companion and none appealed to me. I was there maybe 45 minutes and decided to cut my losses. Hopefully it gets better at night, but this afternoon was a washout.
