I was looking forward to checking...

I was looking forward to checking this place out based on some of the reviews below, but after two visits, I don't understand the enthusiasm. I went on a Saturday evening, about 7:30pm. The club was entirely empty except for me and one other customer, and there were exactly two girls working. Nobody was on stage and the girls were just kind of hanging around. They each asked if I wanted a dance but I simply was not that interested in either of them. After sitting alone for about a half hour with no girls on stage and no new customers or dancers arriving, I left.

If I hadn't used an LA Weekly pass and actually paid the $20 admission fee, I would have felt hugely ripped off. People seem to like this place and I know that Saturday at 7 is not the most hopping time, but I would have thought there would be more than 2 bored dancers there. Not likely to return - unless someone can tell me why this club seems to have a lot of fans.
