I almost did not go to...

I almost did not go to bouzoukis because the reviews here were mediocre and penthouse and flight club were in the area. However, I was staying downtown and was being kept very busy so I quickly figured out I wasn't going to get to those other places. Decided to venture in around 9pm and it was pretty dead. Much of what others have said is true. The girls can seem unmotivated, the ones that are motivated are usually the ones you don't want to be, and the average dancer here is probably a five or six. There are a few 7s and 8s sprinkled around - thought I saw a 9 once but was probably just drinking too much. Why would anyone go here? Its conveniently downtown so a lot of us who are downtown on business can walk there (relatively safely - important in detroit) and you actually can have a good time there. Remember, it only takes one dancer to make your night and I found one each of the two nights I was there.

The trick here is to bide your time. Watch the stage, find one you like, tip and she is yours. See if she has personality enough. Get a dance, if its good have another. Rinse and repeat. Simple formula that I know is no secret. Just pointing out that this is one of those places where you really have to be proactive if you want to get what you want. If you don't seek out the hidden gems here you will be swamped with the girls who aren't pretty enough for the other clubs, the fatties, the frankenboobs, the grandmas, the horror! (unless you like that sort of thing).
