Went in around 9:30 on a...

Went in around 9:30 on a Wednesday evening. Cover was $2 and my micro brew was $5. Signs on the walls said they have happy hour specials every day until 5:30PM. They had two bars open and a waitress making the rounds. The waitress was very good, appearing every time I finished a drink and leaving me alone the rest of the time. The place was pretty full, but that might have just been because it was "contest night." One of the dancers told me that there was a contest for free dances at midnight. I didn't stick around to find out what that really meant.

They had all three stages running with two girls per stage doing three song sets. Lots of guys (and a few girls and couples) lined the rails. I'm guessing the dancers make most of their money on stage because I saw lots of multi-dollar stage tipping and because the private dances there are pretty lame. More on that later.

Dancer variety consisted of: some tall, some short; some blonde, some brunette; some surgically enhanced, some natural; and some heavily tattooed, some lightly tattooed. All were thin, most were pretty, and all but one were white. There was one Asian dancer. Most of the girls appeared to be bored (or stoned) out of their skulls. Very little contact was available at the rail, and most of what there was went to guys tipping $4 or $5 per song. The DJ ran the music way too loud and thumping for my 50 year old ears. Most of the crowd was younger, though, and I'm guessing they liked it better than I did.
