The Gold Club is pretty huge...

The Gold Club is pretty huge compared to the other strip clubs in the Tampa area. The decor and ambience are pretty nice. There are multiple pole dance areas - there is one in the bar area. The day i visited there were two girls dancing - one in the bar area and the other in the common stage. Each girl gets to do two songs in each of the dance areas. Surprisingly, the DJ was good and the song selections were very good. it was only seven bucks at the door and when i asked if there was a mandatory drink as well - i was told no! However, once inside there are plenty choice of drinks starting from shots for 2 bucks and there's no reason not to buy a drink!

This is a topless / pastie club. There were about 8 to 10 girls dancing at around midnight on a sunday night. Most girls were above average looks with a couple real top class. i was surprised that the girls in general were not approaching the customers for a dance even those who were tipping a lot of money! As the time passed by the DJ announce two for 30 specials. Thought it was pretty good deal - otherwise it is 20 for one dance. i took a dance from this short slim latina from cuba. Pretty awesome dancer, to say the least!

Overall, it was a fairly satisfactory visit. Cant complain much about the ambience or the cost or dancer quality. But for me the big thing that i missed was that it is not a full nude club. Guess thats the compromise one needs to make if one needs alcohol at the strip clubs!
