I visited the Gold Club on...

I visited the Gold Club on a Saturday evening in late October around 10:00 PM. I had not been in Memphis for a few months and was curious to see if things had changed much from my last visit. This club has clearly been upgraded a great deal with regard to the interior. Admission was (I believe) about $ 17.00, which included two drinks. They only serve beer and wine. The interior is extremely nice and clean. It was still early and there appeared to be only 5 to 10 dancers on duty. Appearance wise the dancers were average with a couple looking very good.

I didn't have much time, so I accepted one of the first dancer's offer for a private dance. The rooms are just off the main bar area, but are fairly dark and I didn't see any bouncers paying any attention to the private rooms. My dark haired selection told me she would give me one of the best private dances I had ever experienced and I told her that was a very optimistic claim, since I was a seasoned dance critic.

I agreed to do one dance ($ 20) to see if she was as good as she claimed. She was indeed very good and we did a total of five dances for $ 100. Touching above the waist was encouraged and she did a excellent job for me. This is still a fairly good club.
