I was in Sammy's Friday in...

I was in Sammy's Friday in the early afternoon killing a couple of hours before heading to the airport. I got there right at about noon and there was noting going on. The one dancer I saw came up to me for a chit chat. She was very nice and I really good conversation with her. When stage dancing started there were about 6 dancers working each had a great body. One girl was absolutely stunning. Three of the girls were white two were black and the one I talked to was Hispanic I think. There was no pressure to tip the girls while on stage. The music was not overpowering, and the crowd was pretty laid back. Each girl I tipped came over afterwards and thanked me, a standard practice. What I really appreciated is that each girl was American local to the area. In the north east the clubs are dominated by Brazilian and Eastern European girls. So it was nice being able to talk to the dancers. The bartender was great to talk to also. It was $4.25 for a domestic beer. If I am in Birmingham again I will definitely come back.
