While I remain a fan of other Honolulu clubs like Femme Nu, the Californization of those other clubs concerns me. The girls are nice, but some nights I feel like there are more Asian/Pacific strippers in your average mainland club than in Femme Nu or Rock Za. So thank heavens for Exotic Nights, now and forever (I hope) an oasis for local/Pacific/Asian talent. I went there on a Sunday, a quiet night for Exotic Nights. Which means you have your choice of dancers. Supple, sweet girls, Asian and local, a pleasant night. Lady drinks are now $40, stiff, but the girls are low-key and don't push the lady drinks if you don't want them. Very Hawaii. Young, supple girls, both local and from the Philippines and points west. So if you come to Hawaii wanting a sense of our local beauties, this place is your go-to, off the tourist route, kind of place. And yet still very easy to reach, about a block from the Sports Authority on Ward Ave, just off of Ala Moana.
