after the 1 year anniversary of...

after the 1 year anniversary of my first trip to the pony, i went back. my first visit was less than spectacular, as it was more “glitz than glory/glamour”. my last review spoke about the annoyingly loud music, the laser/strobe light effects, the 1970s disco mtv smoke and irritating dj. all appears to be scaled down to acceptable levels. the dj is 1000% less annoying. the music is still at tad too loud, as it prevented me from listening to the dancers babble. they must have a script they read, “what’s your name?”, “where your from?”, “are you having fun?”, etc. don’t mind so much the questions, but cant they switch up the order of questioning? appears that the club allows each dancer to negotiate their dance rates, as long as they payout the club the $5/dance. once dancer told me it was $30/dance, while another offered a 2-song dance, $40 “special”. dances were performed in a back partition area on comfortable couches. they were very tame.
