Camelot is one of the oldest strip clubs in DC, and has a long-time reputation as one of the best. I've been there several times over the years, and compared to the other DC clubs, it is indeed one of the two best. Which, unfortunately, is not saying that much because of restrictive DC laws limiting what the girls can do and how close you can come to them. Given those restrictions, however, Camelot deserves its reputation. The girls tend to be consistently good in appearance and demeanor, though inevitably there is the occasional one that falls short. Those don't last long, though; apparently the management watches for that type and doesn't keep them on. Thankfully, there is no obnoxious pushing to buy overpriced drinks, either for yourself or the girls, though you do need to buy at least a beer for yourself to avoid being ejected (there is no cover or entrance fee). No lap dances nor (as far as I know) no separate VIP room, but the girls are friendly enough if you tip them decently. The highest tipper gets a visit and a chat with the girl in between dances. If you must go to a DC strip club, I recommend Camelot.
