Stopped by late Tuesday evening to see if my favorite waitress had started dancing yet. When I arrived about 9:00, I found the prices had jumped! Admission was now more and the mandatory coat check was up to $5.00 from $3.00. Fortunately, my internet coupon saved me the door entrance fee. I found my favorite waitress - still serving drinks and vowing never to dance. She was manning the "beer tub" by the door. The $1 advertised beer special ended up costing me $5.50, which I took and found a table close to the stage. PG had a good mix of dancers this evening ranging from 5's to 8's. I had been at my table for about 5 minutes before I was approached by a dancer. She introduced herself and sat down to chat. Fourtunately, she got called to the stage very quickly and I was saved the touble of telling her I did not want a dance. My first and only dance of the evening was the 2 for 1 feature the club did at 10:00. I was approached by a smoking hot latina and I just couldn't say no.

We went off to the VIP room and that's when the trouble began. There was a different bouncer working the VIP (don't know if he was new or just new to me) and I think his personal mission was to insure that no one had any fun in the VIP. As soon as my dance began, he walked by and told me to keep my hands to myself (I had reached up and put my hands on the dancers hips) and proceeded to spend the rest of the song walking up and down the length of the VIP area watching everyone! He spent the second song of my 2 for 1 sitting right in front of my cubicle! I have never been "bird dogged" like this in any club before, and this is why I gave the club a 2 monetary rating. At the end of the song, I thanked the dancer (who was great, and I think felt sorry for me) and left the club. One of the very few times I have left a strip club with money in my pocket.

I don't think I will be back to visit Pure Gold anytime soon.
