This is my first couple of visits to the Knockout Sports Saloon since the new laws were enacted. This used to be a favorite place to meet up and start an evening of bar hopping. They had cheap beer, numerous HD TVs with sports, and topless dancers. There was also no cover charge. Since they have banned nude dancing (pasties only) the Gold Room next door has the same setup therefore it appears that they will no longer have dancers at the Sports Saloon. I have stopped in three times on weekends between 9:00 and 11:00 and I have not seen one dancer. The last time I was there a bouncer said that sometimes one of the girls will wander over from the Gold Room and dance for tips but it seems to be real hit or miss.

It's a shame to see this happen, as I said this was a great place to start an evening or just to pop in for a quick beer and visual entertainment. As a sports bar little has changed, they have 16 HD TVs on the walls and they carry nearly all of the major pay per view events. They also have a pool table and darts. The club has a casual mountain lodge like feel. It's still a great place to watch sports but I miss being able to watch the dancers during breaks in the action.
