This is of course not a strip club, but a peep show. You pay $2 to get through the turnstile into the back, where you will find many video booths playing VHS porn loops for inserted dollars and maybe a dancer or two providing private shows for paying customers (they model behind glass so you can see what you're getting). The advantage of this over a strip club is that the girls get fully nude (at least for the right price), and can touch themselves in ways no strip club would allow. The value is probably a little better than a strip club, too. There, $40 will get you six minutes. Here, $40ish (including $2 turnstile fee and $10 into the machine to raise the window) will get you more time than that, and the ability to touch yourself if you feel the inkling. The disadvantage is that there's less selection (I've visited twice, and never seen more than two dancers), the ladies tend to be a little older, and it's all look, no touch. It's also hard to get around the skeezy feeling. Strip clubs provide at least the illusion that everything's above board, and that the 20-year-old fake-titted blonde might actually be into you. Here, there's no getting around the fact that you are there for questionable purposes. Especially since the crackdown on local traditional strip clubs, this place is crowded, and you might find yourself milling around trying not to make eye contact with fellow patrons. Being one in a line of guys to occupy a tiny booth with a sticky floor just isn't very sexy.
