What a strange place Cassidy's is....

What a strange place Cassidy's is.  It has the setup of a strip club, but the girls and patrons treat it like a corner tavern.  I arrived at 7:45 and paid a $5 cover.  Most of the customers were crammed in a corner playing pool and video golf.  There is a prominent main stage where the girl would dance for 2 songs.  After 2 songs, they would play 2 songs with nobody on stage.  Jade and Chloe were working, and they were far better looking than I expected for Amarillo.  Around 8:30 a parade of new talent came pouring in and they cut out the empty stage song.  For the $5 cover, they gave you a free drink.  A Shiner Bock was $3.25.  Cheap place to drink.  I  stayed for close to 2 hours and was not approached by a girl at all.   Tipping is such that you walk up to the stage, flash your cash, and the  girl gives you a 30-45 second planned routine.  Everyone seems to wait  for

the second song to tip because it is the topless song.  Jade looked  great in a Pocohontos outfit, and I tipped her multiple times.  The last  time I asked her to stop by and see me.  She agreed, but got off stage,  and sat at the corner of the bar talking to regulars.   

Very  frustrating.

 The layout is also odd.  Besides the main stage, there  is a small circular stage in the middle of the pool table and video golf  game, as well as a small circular stage in what appears to be a living  room setup.  In the time I was there, I only saw 1 guy getting a lap  dance with 2 different girls.  Obviously, the girls here are not  interested in making money.  The average stage dance netted about $4 in  tips.I can't say I will make the trip back.  The girls were in the  6-9 range, and there were multiple girls that I would have danced with, but  the lack of interest in the customers makes it a very frustrating  experience.
