i was in houston to see...

i was in houston to see ufc 136 and figured while i was there i may as well go to a strip club. i ended up having a horrible time at another club earlier in the night and decided to try this one out (see my previous review).

i got here at about 2 something am local time on saturday oct. 8, 2011. the parking lot was packed, but there were spots in the back. this club seems to be in a pretty nice part of town and they have a security guy, but he hangs out near the door so the back of the parking lot isn't really being watched. i still felt safe though.

i don't remember how much the cover was, but i was surprised that there wasn't a mandatory drink purchase. i stayed at this club about 2 hours (maybe a little less) and only had 2 waitresses ask me if i wanted a drink. i didn't have any dancers come up to me and ask me if i wanted company or if i wanted a dance, but that was fine b/c i didn't really care for any of the girls except for one. the girl i liked seemed like she was def the fav dancer for most of the guys there (at least of the dancers working that night). i waited on her to pass by me so i could get her attention, but she seemed to have certain tables she would go to even though the guys at the tables didn't seem to be going to the VIP with her. i guessed they were locals or were buying her drinks or something. there was one guy that seemed to me like he was her boyfriend and i didn't like the vibe of that. it felt like he was jealous and looking at the guys that showed interest in her like he wanted to fight them. her on stage skills were decent. she mainly had a lot of energy and one go to move, but otherwise she wasn't what i would call a good stage dancer. i finally moved to a table near the table she seemed to hang around and finally had to grab her while she was walking by and told her i wanted a private dance. she told me she had to check in with her DJ and that she would be back soon. i watched her go up to the DJ and after a few minutes she came out and went right back to the same table. then, she ended up going on stage. by this point i was annoyed b/c she had plenty of time to give me a private dance and i am pretty sure she would've made more from a private dance than what she made from dancing on stage again so i left right after she got on stage. the dancer seemed like she was more into having fun with her coworkers and being loud and obnoxious than making money anyways.
