I write reviews because I read reviews before I check out new clubs. In Flint, there ain't much, so I feel it's especially important to know what to expect if you're looking. At some point I've been to as much as 60-70% of the SCs here, but thats over a period of many years, and things change and so has my range of taste and interest. What you need to know about Flint, unless you live here or very close by, is the area has been hit hard over the last twenty or so years. Gentrification, or rebuilding of the nicer areas and downtown, is still a long way off. It may never come. Not many areas in Flint 'look great', but the areas that look horrible might not be as bad as they seem compared to other cities. The town is run down. Just because an area looks bad, it might not be. However, if you are uncomfortable don't take chances. About the only club worth going to is this one. Across the street is Nathan J's, and if go in and meet the girls you will never go back. I went to DV on a Tuesday afternoon. Parked in their lot, which is secure and supervised, and went on the cub for five bucks. I didn't see more than three girls..... all new. The manager, Steve, was there, and a couple of corporate types from the parent organization I suspect. They had laptops and tablets and were talking with the girls. They had to notice how interested I was in watching what they were doing. It looked they knew how to run a business if you ask me. They were talking to the girls and it was friendly. I asked Steve how many girls were working and he said about 13. Well....where are they? Two minutes later there was a review on stage, and up went 14 nice young ladies, at least half totally naked. No one less than a 6, a bunch of 7's, and a couple of 8's. I got a couple dances from a really smokin' hot AA gal, the only one, rest of the gals were white. The clientele is usually white as well, and I'm not sure why. We go to the standard DV booth and she says if I want her naked I can't, "touch her vagina". I told her her vagina is inside her body and I don't really have any interest 'in there'. She smiles and says "you know, you're right about that" and laughs with me. I told her to give me a nice dance and put my hands where she wants me to put them. She did, and I had a great time. If you know what to expect when you go into a club, then you can relax and enjoy yourself. It's a nice club, well managed, and they want you to feel safe. Face it, it's a corporation, and they invested a lot in controlling the experience. When you get to know the girls better, maybe YMMV, but don't count on it. But dancers rarely stay here more than six months, so it's unusual you be a regular with anyone too long.
