It had been years since I'd visited Landing Strip, but they've been getting some positive review lately and Flight Club was a dud that night. I bailed from FC and went to LS around 8pm. Paid a $5 cover and walked in. It's not a dive, but my impression was that it's definitely a few steps below FC - in size, decor, atmosphere. Two things really made an impression on me that night.

Firstly, there weren't many girls here; maybe 5 or 6. Twice that many PL's. And the ladies just weren't that attractive. Let me put it this way, the top ladies at LS would make the bottom of the roster at FC. The others wouldn't be permitted to set foot on the FC stage. Maybe my personal taste, but a clear difference in appearance quality to me.

Secondly, I had LD's with two girls, and both turned out a bit strange. First was a slender, dark-haired mid-20's girl named Jxxxe. Attractive ... BUT - 1) thick-framed black Buddy Holly glasses! Looked like a librarian! Now I like a bit of intelligence in a girl, and she was quite articulate and I enjoyed talking to her, but those glasses were certainly unusual on a stripper. 2) Several large tattoos - not my thing. Still, after chatting for a while she suggested a lapper and I agreed. Upstairs we went to a nice private, curtained couch area where she gave me a decent grind - no touching the kitty. After one song, she said, "That's it! Thank you very much!" I've NEVER had a LD where the girl didn't either automatically continue to the next song or ask "Shall we keep going?" So I paid her and went back to the bar.
