I've been going to The Good...

I've been going to The Good Guys since the olden, golden days, back when its chief competitors were Shepherd's Park and This Is It!. It has gone through some changes over the years, going from one stage to two to the three it has now, but the dancers have always been particularly beautiful and usually friendly. Indeed, several have become my actual real-life friends, and a couple of them even became my roommates for a couple of years. Please note that this is despite the fact that I am overweight, not particularly good-looking, well into my middle age, and not wealthy. I've just found that most of them are pretty nice girls who want to be treated with basic human respect and a decent sincerity, and they return the favor.

Any night is good there but sometimes Fridays and Saturdays, particularly in the evening, get very crowded, and indeed sometimes you have to wait in line to get in. Weekdays and nights aren't so crowded and you can usually choose where you sit. Strangely enough, I have had my best times there on Wednesday evenings, and as with all strip clubs it can be even more fun when there's a full moon. I guess we all have a little bit of the werewolf in us.

The beer is quite costly but no worse than at, say, Nationals Park. The food is surprisingly excellent, way better than you expect at a strip club. The waitresses are appropriately attentive and for the most part as lovely and as friendly as the dancers, although they seldom have much time to stop and chat.
