I've reviewed Joe's Place in the past. Things tend to be more somewhat more variable at this club that in a lot of other Block clubs. By this I mean that some clubs are consistently lame, some are consistently biased toward maximizing customer input but minimize entertainer output, some are consistently fun and some are consistently scary. Chez Joey has some great ups and some incredible downs. From a pretty consistent up rating a few months ago, the last three or four times I've been there have been very disappointing - bad dancer and bartender attitude/skill, disinterested dancing (phoning it in), and few dancers worth a VIP experience. This is a shame because the owners seem to have invested quite a bit in the facility - new bathrooms, a great VIP room, etc. Until I write again, the Blockist sees little to recommend in this once-proud club.
