I believe Sweethearts is taking the low road in a tough economy. They are very close to a remarkable club that is busy almost all the time. Instead of following that business model; one of providing good value, Sweethearts is squeezing every penny they can out of less and less customers.

As fewer people frequent the establishment, their squeeze gets tighter. The quality of staff declines because of fewer customers. The response of management seems to be to squeeze tighter. Less customers, lesser staff, tighter squeeze. Repeat.

What Sweethearts have evolved into is a free-for-all get what you can from the one or two people who visit establishment. I don't believe there are any real rules or prices (aside from the drinks which seem to creep up ten percent every time I visit). I correct myself and would state the one rule seems to be if you make the customer "happy," he will most likely leave. Otherwise, have at it.
