I week or two ago I visited Oasis on a Saturday night and it reminded me of two things – why I quit going to strip clubs on weekend nights and why I quit going to Oasis. The shot girls are incredibly annoying and the O has a lot of them. It gets really packed and by the time I left at midnight, it was standing room only. There are several gorgeous women but they generally stuck to the big bachelor party type of groups. Many of the others were of the annoying wanna dance type. Many came by my table but not one made any significant effort to keep a conversation going for more than 15 seconds.

The club felt very open and bright which I guess is a plus. The high ceilings make the smoke not bother me as much as other bars. In my 2 hours there, I did get a table dance with 2 different ladies, which included very little contact. The $40 I spent there was the least I have spent at a club in a long time.

I see no reason to return to Oasis. Mardi Gras (or Tilted Kilt) is much better if you want a sports bar with some pretty ladies to chat with and look at. Follies is much better if you want action and good lap dances.
