This was me second visit this...
This was me second visit this year, had time to kill while waiting for a connecting flight at nearby Detroit Metro Airport (my favorite airport in the USA). Anyway, the alternate nearby choices (Landing Strip, Flight Club and Playhouse) all cater to a higher class clientele with accordingly higher costs. Well, you get what you pay for. Here, the parking is self-service and no cost. If you are concerned about your vehicle's safety, you can watch the parking lot from at east three different angles on closed-circuit TV monitors mounted above the dance area. At times, that's precisely what I found myself doing; not because of concerns for my car, but because the views of the parking lot were more interesting and appealing than what was going on below the monitors.
The dancers performed three at a time on the main and two side stages. Each went as far as topless. Don't expect any artificial enhancements here. Furthermore, it appears that Bogarts must be sitting on top of a lead mine since the gravitational pull appears to be much greater than 32.2 ft/sec2 around here. I was expecting the worst of the rest room based on earlier posts, but found it reasonably well maintained. The seating is about as uncomfortable as it can be but the viewing angles are OK. There are no bad seat locations, only bad seats. Was approached with ld offers and then some. Did not try the VIP yet, still looking to gather enough courage to partake. Watched my rental car for about an hour, stepped out for a cigar break, made a few phone calls, ho-hum. Beer was OK but as in most clubs way overpriced. I'll be back only because I find the working class environment so much more "Detroit" than the other nearby establishments.
