It's been years since I last...

It's been years since I last visited the 8Ball. A recent visit reminded me why. This is a poorly managed dive SC. Arrived about 8:00pm, paid the $5 cover and sat down. Not a dancer on stage or in evidence anywhere. Waitress took my order and brought my $6.50 beer and hollered for some dancer, any dancer, to get on stage. A yound MILF soon arrived on stage and did her two song set. Since I was the only custy sitting near the small stage she spent a good deal of her "stage time" sitting on my lap. When her set was complete she came and sat with me for a few moments to get acquainted. We soon went to their lame VIP area (really just a few chairs a few feet away from the main club floor area. Her dances were OK considering the club rules that the DJ continued to shout "No touching my dancers! Not with your hands, Not with your lips, not with any part of your body." OK, that kind of limits what can happen during a lap dance.

Now the rest of the story. After a few of the tame LDs, I returned to my table to watch some more stage dancing whereupon the DJ announced that there would be a mandatory dancers meeting the dressing room. WTF? First, no dancers on stage at 8:00 and now, at 8:30, there would be no dancers while they had A MEETING? What kind of club vacates the stage on a Saturday night to hold a meeting? Answer: the kind that will get no more of my $$.
