I worked as a dancer at Beamers for a couple weeks in September. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a nice little club. It has its own parking lot which seems roomy enough for a crowd. I don't remember the normal admission price $5 or $10, but if you spend another $20 or $30 you get access to the back room. For the most part drinks are under $10. The guys who work in the club look extremely thuggish, but it's a very safe place. I don't know if it's in the best part of town, but it's right up the street from business district of Stamford, as well as the train station. When you walk in there are a couple pool tables and a bar to your right, and the stage to your left. Before 8:00 the girls dance to a juke box, after that there's a dj. There is some seating around the stage and a little room of lap dance couches across from the dj booth. This is all in the front room, but if you buy access to the back room there is another bar and several areas with lap dance couches. This is the room where most of the dancers hang out so it's really the place you want to be if you went to a strip club to look at girls. There are no private rooms.

The girls are generally pretty young Russians with a little bit of diversity mixed in. The girls are are pretty friendly and willing to chat you up before asking you to spend. The dances in the front room are not quite air dances, but not much contact. The dances in the back room are two way contact. When the girls are hired they are told the guys can't touch your kitty or put their mouth on you, so that leaves a lot of room to be creative.

For any ladies interested in working here, the clientele is really good. Mostly middle aged white businessmen who are used to spending a good amount. The house fees are $50 every night + $20 to DJ & there isn't a house mom.

I definitely recommend this club. For customers you get manhattan quality dancers without the bullying floor hosts or $1,000 champagne rooms. Female customers always seemed to have fun tipping at the stage too. For dancers you can make really good money consistently as long as you don't mind contact.
