What a difference two blocks make....

What a difference two blocks make. A few weeks ago I stopped in Temps which is a few blocks away and these places are total opposites (see my other review). Platinum Dolls is located down a small side street across from a supermarket and on the edge of a small industrial park. There is a nice sized very well lit parking lot behind the building not sure how long it has been called Platinum Dollz but the canopy over the side of the building had its previous name silkys or something like that. When we you walk in you can either go to the left to the bar area or to the right there is a restaurant which appeared to be closed when I was there. The bar area is a standard NJ go-go layout with a bar around a stage which had two poles and two girls dancing at a time. The interior of the bar was very clean and looked recently updated with 6-8 tv's.

The night I visited there were around 8-10 girls dancing ranging in looks from 6-8or9's and probably 10-12 customers. Most of the girls i talked to were white american girls with one or two russians. Seemed like the girls did 2-3 songs on stage then made two rounds around the bar and than went to sit with each other or their regulars, so the dollar parade was not that bad. I did have a dance or two with a two of the girls. the LD area is located behind the bar and is a community room that is extremely well lit were my eyes hurt for a second until they adjusted. could get a little weird with the good light and a few people in there. LD's were good but a lot of trying to upsell to the VIP rooms which are 200 per 1/2 hour but includes free drinks from what the dancer stated.

all in all a good trip and would not hesitate to stop back.
