I visited Amnesia on Friday August...

I visited Amnesia on Friday August 26th around 6 pm. There was an $5 dollar cover with a free drink of your choice. I was cave man and cave women night which added nothing to the experience and I might take a deduction on the score.

I took a cab to the club from just across the border and Amnesia is not near Hong Kong and Adelitas. I would consider the area around Amnesia a tough neighborhood and would be traveling by cab and not walking the streets during the day or night.

Amnesia is a small to medium sized club with one bar in the front of the club and one stage. There were only a few seats at the bar and it would be hard to see the stage from there. The inside looked quite new though it was very dark. There were small tables around the single stage and numerous two person couches outside of the stage area with a couple of pool tables near the entrance. This was the only TJ club I went to that really had couch dances and there was a private area that had little booths with curtains. There are VIP rooms but did not get a VIP dance. I also can comment on the bathrooms.
