And here's why it's called "taking one for the team"....
I was driving up San Fernando Road to get to the 134 freeway, and saw this place for the first time. It was pay day/rent day/Friday, when the cream of the crop should be dancing, so I said "what the hell" and went in. $10 day cover, with one $5 drink. Pretty nice decor (altho a little "TJ Bordello" in style), seemed fairly clean. Huge 2-runway stage that I liked (altho only one being used daytime); sound and lights at a reasonable level. Staff not an issue (altho they looked like extras from a "Borat" movie). But only 4 dancers, and (per the review below) there was nothing I liked. All various degrees of chubby mamacitas. The fattest (and that's saying something) swooped on me as soon as I pushed through the entrance curtain, and followed me to bar and stage. Nice enough, but didn't seem to understand the 10 ways I said "not interested." One girl I'd seen in another club, where I heard she allegedly put cleaning fluid in another dancer's drink. Don't know if that's true, but it wouldn't surprise me given her obnoxious attitude. Other two were OK I guess, but not to my taste.
Since the lineup was so weak, I decided to bail out before Lady Clorox remembered me. Overall seemed like a decent club physically, with decent pricing (altho songs seemed short, there were "timed" VIP options that seemed OK); just a really weak lineup on the day I was there. So I doubt I'll be back absent some hint there's a dancer I'd like.
