This was my first visit to the Penthouse club, and I'll definitely be back. There were some real lookers working here, and not just because they were naked. There is a main stage, a smaller elevated stage in the middle of the main room, and a couple of areas built into the bar itself for girls to dance. We spent most of our time at the main stage watching the show, and there was a good variety of ethnicities showcased there. Not too much pole dancing while I was there, but the dancing was good nonetheless.

This is a busy club; don't expect to roll in with a big group and expect to find seating at the stage immediately. That said, the popularity should tell you something about the quality of dancers at the place. Drinks were pretty standard for a New Orleans strip club (7 dollars for a beer or so).

Probably my favorite part of my time there was getting a body shot from one of the cocktail waitresses. It was 10 bucks for the shot, and the (very cute) waitress ground on me and danced for over a full minute before giving me the shot. All in all, this is a good club on the high end of what New Orleans offers, and I would say it's worth a visit, whether or not you have to pay a cover.
